Mary Ledman joined RaboResearch as ‘Global Sector Strategist – Dairy’ based in the Chicago office in January 2018. Mary is a thought leader who has extensive knowledge of international dairy markets and policy with over thirty years of experience in the sector, including USDA, Kraft Foods, Stella Foods, and the publisher of the Daily Dairy Report.
As Rabobank’s Dairy Strategist, Mary leads a team of nine analysts around the globe and is tasked with analysing developments in the regional and global dairy markets, developing the bank’s medium-term dairy forecasts and advising the bank on its engagement with the dairy industry.
Mary holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Agricultural Journalism and a Master of Science degree in Agricultural Economics from Texas A&M University. In addition, she received Fulbright Scholarship to conduct comparative research on U.S. and European dairy policies at the University of Goettingen, Germany.

She armed herself with a degree in business management and was supported by her husband in the endeavour. Deeply concerned with the rise of harmful chemicals and pesticides in food and dairy, led Pallavi to establish Shanta Farms three years later.Shanta Farms is contributing to the agriculture industry in Madhya Pradesh with the aim to modernise the dairy sector. They produce and export premium quality organic milk, milk products, grains, spices and vegetables to the United States and European countries.

Robert heads Nestlé Global Milk Sourcing - Innovation and R&D. A Swiss national, born and raised in Asia, Robert decided to turn his passion for Agriculture into his profession. Working collaboratively to solve common problems, he has led and built the multi-stakeholder Nestlé Dairy Farming Institute in China and is an Executive Committee Member at the Sustainable Initiative Platform. Since joining Nestlé in 2003, Robert has taken various positions in Agricultural material sourcing.
