Artex Barn solutions is a Western Canadian Based Manufacturer of Barn equipment serving the dairy industry since 1974. With a complete range of Dairy Equipment needs it is also the inventor and manufacturer of the original free stall Comfort Zone™. Along with business and university partners, Artex were the first group of companies to study cow comfort in the pasture via time lapse video work and translated that into cow comfort in the barn environment. The Comfort Zone™ products are designed to reduce animal stress which in turn, puts more money into the dairyman’s pocket because more milk is produced from a comfortable cow. Our group has changed the way modern freestall barns are built.
Over the years, Artex has formed an impressive product line supporting the Comfort Zoneâ„¢ including: self-locks, free stall loops, aqua dumps, calf housing, and gates along with all the appropriate hardware for easy installation. All of these keep one goal in mind: a stress free environment for cattle.
As a company, we put high value on customer feedback, field visits by our designers and engineers, and constant monitoring of the dairy industry. All these combined provide the information we need as a company to be successful and grow in the marketplace.
Currently, Artex is providing its Comfort Zoneâ„¢ system to new and renovated dairies in North America, South America, Russia, China, Saudi Arabia, and Europe and others. Whether the dairy is 100 head or 10,000 head, Artex can provide exactly what it needs. From our own quality-controlled factory in China, we can ship high quality products to virtually every marketplace at a very competitive price.
With such a solid product base, Artex is taking the company to the next level. We are actively trying to broaden our dealer base worldwide. There have been several new additions within the past year and our goal is for that trend to continue.
Artex Barn Solutions has the advantage of a state of the art research and training facility right outside our office doors. Bakerview Eco Dairy is Canada’s first demonstration dairy of its kind, open to the public, and Artex plays a large role in it. John De Jonge, the president of the company, along with our engineers designed the layout of the barn. The housing equipment inside consists of our latest and greatest products including a unique feed stall system. This site will be our testing grounds for new products to monitor how they perform in real time before they are available.
The Eco Dairy is an ideal training facility for new Artex dealers because the products can be seen in use in the operating barn. There is a conference room where slide show presentations can be shown. Good discussions can lead downstairs to the barn where hands on learning can qualify pictures and descriptions.
